About the author
Dana Eldridge is a 13th generation Cape Codder on both sides of the family. He is a retired school teacher and now works part time as an interpretive ranger at the Cape Cod National Sea Shore and writes a bi-weekly column for the local newspaper, The Cape Codder. He lives with his wife in East Orleans, Massachusetts.
